Individual Leadership Program

The Leadership for an Innovative Culture program is available for consultants or leadership coaches who develop individual leaders. It runs on an online learning platform that enables the client and coach to communicate with each other.

The program:

  • Improves a clients’ leadership practices consistent with top performers through which they can better align employees with the company’s purpose and culture.
  • Enables the client to strengthen trust and collaboration with leaders at all levels of the client’s company.
  • Guides the client to recognize, build, and employ a system of organizational leadership practices and processes to establish and reinforce an innovative, Character-based Capitalism culture within the company.

 

 Classroom Edition Program

The Classroom Edition employs a case study based on the book The Story of the Character-based Car Company. It is available for business school faculty who teach leadership, ethics, culture, innovation, entrepreneurship, or organizational design. Consultants may use it to present Character-based Capitalism to groups of leaders from different organizations. The program is on an online learning platform.

In this Classroom Edition of the Character-based Capitalism Program, participants will learn about Character-based Capitalism: Its design, practices, and behaviors as well as how to apply them.

The intent is to show how Character-based Capitalism can work in an organization and inspire participants to start applying some of the practices and behaviors.  If participants are:

  • An owner, CEO, or executive
    The program will help C-suite management play a leading or supporting role in establishing and reinforcing a culture in which employees are empowered and valued for their talents.They will feel motivated to make a difference in building the business into a great company. Everyone will be an effective leader: thinking and acting like an owner; sharing values, vision, and passion for the business; taking the risk to suggest and develop ideas; collaborating; building trust and demonstrating caring; and inspiring and motivating others to do the same.
  • Employees
    Employees in this program will learn that leadership is about influence, not position. The program will enable them to influence themselves and others to apply the practices of Character-based Capitalism.Their leadership will help shape the culture as well as the attitudes and behaviors of colleagues, which will affect how innovative and productive they are.
  • Seeking a position in an organization
    The program will showcase the values and practices to look for to ensure it will provide fulfillment and growth. By asking questions about culture in interviews, this group will demonstrate leadership qualities that will set them apart.
